From the RC Course - Sunday @ 01:57PM - Bufflehead and Ay Caliente bring up the rest of the 36.7's all of whom have changed to jibs.


From the RC Course - Sunday @ 01:55PM - The Beneteau 36.7's are on their way downwind now, just crossing in front of StFYC. Course 40 takes the racers to Yellow Bluff as their windward mark. Wilson leads in the 36.7 fleet, followed by Summer and Smoke, and Mistral. Summer and Smoke has doused their kite and changed to a jib.


From the RC Course - Sunday @ 01:45PM - The Express 37's are heading downwind, now passing the Golden Gare Yacht club. Bullet is out front, followed by Blade Runner, Elan, Golden Moon, Expeditious, Spindrift V, Loca Motion, pHat Jack and Stewball. With only 3 points separating Golden Moon and Blade Runner, this race is crucial.


From the RC Course - Sunday @ 01:25PM - Melges 32's are heading downwind, now crossing in front of the Golden Gate Yacht Club. Rougarou is first, fillowed by Pegasus who has reapired here headstay, then Taboo, and Viva

From the RC Course - Sunday @ 01:07PM - Winds remain very light. The IRC-A division is ghosting along coming out of the 'cone' in front of Alcatraz on their way to Blossom Rock.


From the RC Course - Sunday @ 12:51PM - Remaining divisions have yet to start. Winds are still light, particularly at the eastern end of the course and a little more wind is needed to counter the effects of the ebb tide.


From the RC Course - Sunday @ 12:43PM - IRC-A Division has started. Winds are unusually light - between 6 & 8 knots. IRC-A division is now just rounding the weather mark near the Golden Gate Bridge. Samba Pa Ti is in front, followed by Vincitore, Mayhem and Flash

From the RC Course - Saturday @ 01:23PM - Race 1 is wrapping up. And while we await results and the start of race 2, the breeze is dominating out of the Southwest and is picking up speed. Great day to surf Fort Point. If you go to the race deck web cam and pan all the way left (west) you might make out the wave sets through the fog under the South Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge.

From the RC Course - Saturday @ 12:14PM - Just after rounding the first weather mark, Philippe Kahn's Pegasus in the Melges 32 division has lowered all their sails and are heading in. Breeze beginning to build and is puffy at the top of the course.


From the RC Course - Saturday @ 12:05PM - With the morning thunderstorms abating, Day 3 of the 2009 Rolex Big Boat Series is underway.

In the fifth race of the series, VINCITORE, FLASH and MAYHEM are out in front of the IRC A fleet sailing on the North Course.

In the IRC B fleet - VELOS and WASABI are neck-and-neck with SWIFTSURE II close behind.

Approaching the windward mark, TNT is leading the IRC C fleet though current division leader SOOZAL has a 20+ meter after handicap.

Winds at the top of the course are SW and WSW at 6-8 knots. Expecting wind shifts and strength variations throughout the day. It is ebbing at the moment at the GG bridge. Looking for slack by 1:00PM then shifting to flood.

Taking the high side of the course after the first gate, Flash has a 200+ meter lead while Mayhem and Vincitore are neck and neck on the low side.
