Rolex Big Boat Series – 47 Years Young
The St. Francis Yacht Club inaugurated its Perpetual Trophy Regatta in 1963, and this annual September gathering has become our signature event--the Rolex Big Boat Series--drawing great sailors from around the globe.

Keeping pace with the evolution of boats and classes over the years, the Rolex Big Boat Series features handicap racing under IRC, and multiple one design divisions over four days. Hosts to last year's Melges 32 Pre-Worlds, this year St. Francis Yacht Club will host the Farr 30 World Championship as part of the Rolex Big Boat Series.

St. Francis Yacht Club
Nestled at the foot of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, the St. Francis Yacht Club was founded in 1927. The clubhouse has been rebuilt and expanded after a series of earthquakes and a devastating fire. While little remains of the original Willis Polk structure, club traditions live on with an eye to preserving history while embracing modern technology and lifestyles.

With an extensive youth program and both match and team racing programs, along with an Olympics Foundation, St. Francis Yacht Club provides sailing and racing opportunities from beginner to expert. Our racing excellence tradition is widely recognized and is achieved with the outstanding expertise of our racing office and hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
